What happens if I contact a Volunteer Centre?

You can find out more about any aspect of volunteering that interests you, and arrange to meet an advisor to find the right opportunity for you if you want to start volunteering. Your advisor can arrange for you to visit any organisation you are interested in, but there is no obligation - you can just take information away to consider further if you want to. It is also your opportunity to ask questions about what might be expected of you and what you can expect from any organisation you volunteer with.

Use the Volunteers menu at the right hand side of this page to find out about why people volunteer, specific opportunities available in Devon, who to talk to about volunteering abroad, and what your local Volunteer Centre can offer you.  If you want to find out more about anything you seen or have any other queries about volunteering, please use the contact form there to get in touch with your local Volunteer Centre.
